Tooling: Attention to

A casting is only as
good as the tool from which it is produced. Our experienced and expert Toolmakers
exercise great care in creating a high quality die.
Through
expert tooling, zinc die casting can provide tight dimensional accuracy which
eliminates much of the need for costly secondary operations. We pride ourselves
on producing tooling that is so accurate, parts are literally ready for plating
or painting after their completion.

Finishing Touch...Joyner's
Gives You Just What You Need.
Parting-line
removal is the first step in finishing prior to careful hand or automatic buffing.
Once this operation is complete, your product is ready for one of a wide variety
of finishes completed in-house at Joyner's.
BUFFING.
Automatic buffing is an option for efficient, consistent finishing of high volume
castings.
PLATING.
Plating solutions are monitored by our own laboratory technicians. Each rack is
careful inspected at the end of the plating line. Joyner's in-house plating offers
a variety of finishes including: copper, nickel, chrome, brass, bronze, gold
and silver in mirror, satin and antique appearances.
PAINTING.
Many product identification castings require careful paint-filling after plating.
Paint is baked to provide an attractive, durable finish. All types of colors are
available to enhance the image of your product.
COATING.
Joyner's exclusive Perma-Clear™ is a durable, economical coating which offers
significant improvements over traditional clear lacquer enamel when applied to
bronze, brass, gold, silver, nickel and stainless finishes. This protective coating
offered only from Joyner's passes all B.H.M.A. testing. Powder coating is also
available at Joyner's.
PVD...the most durable brass
or gold metallic colors.
PVD
— Physical Vapor Deposition — provides the
most durable finish for brass or gold metallic colors
on your product. PVD will surpass performance of electro
phoretic deposits and sprayed-on clear lacquers and
enamels. It's the finish of choice for maximum appearance
— life of your product.
